Since its establishment as a subsidiary of Toa Sangyo Co., Ltd., Towa Cosmetics Co., Ltd. has been engaged in OEM/ODM production of cosmetics and quasi-drugs, as well as the manufacturing and sales of private label products.
As parent company Toa Sangyo Co., Ltd. grows in the field of hygiene products amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Towa Cosmetics Co., Ltd.'s position within the group will have to change from being merely a manufacturer of cosmetics and quasi-drugs to one that will take on basic research for the entire group in its future business plans for the health industry, and will be promoting research and development of products in the health industry, including pharmaceuticals.
